I recently purchased in US a pair of original alloy spats , surely of an alloy 120, in a very strange light green, not an usual Pastel Green. It could be interesting to know
more about the shade of that strange light green.

This car apparently got a rebody as a "LT" in period, though very little remained of this body when found, any one knows more about this find?

    "In period" !
yes probably in the last 3-4 years this car never had an LT body prior to this
Berg notes No body so how would anyone know it was an LT body

    Well, Dear Anonymous.
There is a reson why I state that this car at period was re bodied.
there is facts to prove this.
and just because stated as "wrightoff, no body" doesn't mean it had A or some body before.
    please don't judge without knowing....

XK 120 LT clone built on a genuine aluminium XK 120 chassis (#670036)

Aluminium body made in Scotland in the 1970's

1950 engine block and cylinder head correct to original LT and C-type specification

Engine built with racing components by UK specialists, with approximately £40,000–£50,000 reportedly spent on the build

Fitted with a 5-speed Getrag gearbox and correct drum brakes

Engine built with racing components including:

    Solid Arrows crank

    Longer Carrillo rods

    Short Mahle pistons

    Larger valves

    D-Type cams

    Gas-flowed head

    Oil breathers with catch tank

    High-pressure oil pump

    Crosthwaite and Gardiner distributor

    Oil cooler

    Fitted with correct drum brakes

Built to an LT-mimicking spec to a fine standard, the nicely-kept engine bay presents a similar mid-century determination. The engine block, twin SU carbs and 5-speed Getrag are all straight from the LT textbook, and are reported to be in good working order. We understand that this handsome, sporty evocation is ready and waiting to be driven away
